Really quite pointless because I don’t think it matters how fast you can read. I mean, sure, if you’re reading Harry Potter and you think it’s called Happy Pottery you could use some help, but I don’t think it matters how fast you read. Why should it? Everyone reads at their own pace. Who cares if it takes one kid 3 minutes to read the same thing as a kid who took 12 minutes? I just think it’s a waste of time.

That school was kind of fun at first, but now it’s kind of boring. The only subjects I really like are music and social studies. Most of the classes are boring. But the food is better than I expected it to be. I thought it would be incredibly disgusting, but actually it’s not that bad. And I never thought they’d have soft pretzels. I’m glad they do, though. All my friends said the school days go by fast, but I don’t think they do. I also thought that there would be more homework at this point, but there isn’t. So that’s a good thing. So is jr. high better than elementary school? It’s hard to say. In many ways, no, it isn’t. But I believe in some very small ways, jr. high is okay.

Remember all the news coverage the attacks got. Every single day, even for weeks after the attacks, whenever I watched the news it was September 11 this, September 11 that, there was hardly anything else on. It’s not that I don’t care about what happened- I do feel sorry for all the lives lost- but rather that I don’t think we need to keep bringing it up. We should’ve just talked about that one day, and then pretended it never happened. I remember watching the news coverage the day of the attacks, and after seeing it once or twice I just left because it was so boring. And honestly, I do think that the attacks could have been avoided with the help of more security. Honestly, people, think! We could have saved so many lives if we had just been more strict.
